Haunted history from across the UK
Where history, folklore and personal experience meet
Ghost Tales by the Fireside explores the places where the past won't quite settle: old inns, ancient roads, churchyards, castles, manor houses, villages, town centres and forgotten corners of the landscape.
Each episode begins with the location itself, and lets the history unfold naturally — the lives, events and details that shaped it — before turning to the stories that followed. Nothing is exaggerated or forced. What's documented is treated as documented; what's folklore, memory or personal experience is treated as exactly that.
